About me

I'm a student of philosophy and history. Upon completing my BA in philosophy in December of this year, I hope to do a little bit of travelling before joining Teach for America and starting a career as a high school teacher. My hope is to share my passion for literature, culture, and philosophy with the few high school students interested in such things.

In the meantime, I enjoy wine, women, and song. I'm a sensualist, a romantic, and love chocolate.

About my collections

I'm a minimalist of sorts and try to avoid owning things that I will never read, view, or listen to. About once every 6 months I'll purge my collection of books, keeping only those that I want to read again or those that I am interested in reading. I limit myself to one shelf for my literature, in hopes of avoiding being weighed down by possesions.
